Our 2023 awards season commenced in term 4 with a spectacular evening celebrating the students in the instrumental music program.
The host for the evening was Jess Piva (Class of 2020), a distinguished alum of Chancellor State College, currently pursuing a performance degree on the French Horn at the Queensland Conservatorium of Music, Griffith University in Brisbane.
Guests on the night got to experience performances by both our secondary and primary instrumental music academy students; featured in 14 of our College performance ensembles.
We extend our heartfelt congratulations to all our students for their outstanding achievements throughout the year and their unwavering commitment to the program. Additionally, we wish to express our deep gratitude and recognition for our devoted teachers, whose passion and dedication have played a pivotal role in shaping the success of our students.
A special thanks to our Instrumental Music Academy Coordinator, Ms Jodie Lutherborrow, and the entire teaching team Mr Alex Lehmann, Ms Andrea Risby-Jones and Mrs Kristi Nageli.
