RoboKings head to Houston

​​​​Chancellor State College’s robotics team ‘RoboKings’ have travelled to Houston, Texas to compete at the international robotics tournament - Festival of FIRST robotics.
In December 2022, two CSC robotics team progressed to the national competition held in Sydney. When most students were starting their summer holidays these teams travelled to Sydney to participate in the Australian First Tech Challenge.

• 1st Place Australian National Inspire Awards (the Champions trophy)
• 1st Place Alliance Captains
• Set a World record

Success at National tournament earned the Robokings an invite to attend Houston, Texas, to compete at the World’s Festival of FIRST robotics in April.


The FIRST Robotics Competition is the flagship competition of FIRST. A large-scale robotics competition, FIRST Robotics Competition brings together students and mentors to build robots that perform in a competitive but gracious environment against teams from all over the world.​

This international competition will see the RoboKings take on some of the brightest young minds in the STEM world, with over 190 teams competing from around the globe.
