The Junior Secondary model at Chancellor State College focuses on developing students through their formative years, challenging them to be the best they can be. Our Pathways to Success ensure students can engage in a diverse range of subjects according to their interests. In Years 7–9, our students engage in diverse learning pathways across four Academies of Excellence:
- Creative Industries
- Health and Performance
- STEM
- Global Citizens
The focus is to promote the College's strong commitment to the Arts, 21st century skills, sporting, robotics and entrepreneurial fields through pathways of excellence. Unique to our College, these opportunities provide students access to specialised teaching staff and learning experiences. Our Academies allow students to access a diverse range of ever-growing local and global opportunities.
Each of the programs has a Head of Department devoted to the programs who selects and develops their staff, quality assures the programs and monitors and supports the development of students in these programs.
In addition to the four Academies, Chancellor State College offers Student Leadership opportunities.
