Extra-curricular​

In addition to our curriculum subjects, our students enjoy extra-curricular opportunities at school including Athletics and swimming carnivals where students can represent Chancellor State College at Districts, Regionals and State levels competing against other schools in Queensland. We also have our world class Robotics Club, Instrumental Music, Dance Team, and Fitter Faster Stronger programs which run before school, lunch breaks and after school.

International students are also welcome to join any of the local sports clubs outside the College including hockey, soccer, rugby and rugby league, AFL, cricket, tennis, pickle ball, badminton, volleyball and beach volleyball, basketball, netball, cycling, marathons, and triathlons. Chancellor State College is located right next door to the University of the Sunshine Coast Athletics Track. The athletics track has eight and ten lane running tracks and equipment for hurdles, steeplechase, javelin, shot-put, discus, hammer-throw, high jump, long jump, triple jump, pole vault, and provision for disabled throw events. UniSC Sunshine Coast also has an Olympic-standard, 10-lane, 50-metre heated pool, a six-lane 25-metre heated pool, cold immersion and warm plunge pool and aquatic recovery equipment. Their facilities are used year-round by recreational swimmers, elite athletes and teams, and Olympic and Paralympic champions and can be accessed by our students during their stay.
