Chancellor State College's Touch Football Academy is committed to providing students the opportunity to pursue their interest, knowledge and skills in touch football. Our goal is to provide students with a genuine career pathway by allowing students to develop their games skills and participate in all facets of touch football , from administration to team management.
Course organisation
The Touch Football Development Program is designed for Year 7 to Year 12 students and is open to both boys and girls. The program is designed to provide students with the opportunity to develop their football skills and to use the study of Touch Football to improve their academic opportunities and provide pathways to tertiary study. Students accepted into the program will have the opportunity to participate in a range of learning experiences from our experienced staff and sessions from guest coaches. Curriculum opportunities include:
- Year 7–8 attend two seventy-minute lessons per week within the timetable. The focus of these lessons is on skill acquisition and game training.
- Year 9–10 attend two or three seventy-minute lessons per week within the timetable.
