The use of ICT is integral in the delivery of curriculum at Chancellor State College.

Year 5 - 12 students

  • Bring Your Own Device (BYOD)

The Bring Your Own Device (BYOD) option allows for students in Years 5 – 12 to purchase their own laptop and use it at school. The BYOD device from home must fit the minimum specifications as outlined in the 2017 Laptop Information and Procedures Handbook. Through the payment of an annual fee of $50, devices will be able to connect to a part of our school network called the BYOD Gateway.

Year 6 – 9 students

  • Chancellor Laptop Program (CLP)

Through a Student Resource Scheme (SRS) payment of $350, students will have access to a take-home laptop, school licensed software, technical support, full access to the school network, secure, filtered and monitored work environment, accidental damage protection (ADP) and school printer access. All computers used in the program are the property of the Queensland DET. Limited devices will be available. More information is available in the CLP Handbook.
