The Senior Curriculum

The Senior Curriculum is organised into four academies:

Design and Production
Enterprise and Innovation
Research and Discovery
World and Change

This organisation reflects the topics of study, modes of delivery and processes of learning that are adopted to connect our students with their chosen learning pathways.

Additionally students can elect to undertake Alternate Learning Options that allow the student to work with our community partners to individualise their senior program.

Acceler8 Program 2010

This program offers a select group of students the opportunity to work in an accelerated learning program in order to extend their engagement with curriculum and develop high level academic skills throughout the senior phase of learning. The aim of the program is to encourage highly motivated students to achieve greater success through selective grouping and a diverse and challenging range of teaching and learning strategies.

Alternate Learning Options

Alternate Learning Options offer flexibility in how senior students access learning opportunities. The Wednesday program has been designed to include a time allocation for students and their individually organised ALO's.
