Chancellor State College’s strategic direction is to embrace the use of ICT in our everyday teaching, learning and operations. ICTs are a part of our P-12 curriculum that aims to prepare our students for the global economy and characteristics of the 21st century learning and work environments. ICTs are used to enhance and engage our students in a relevant, dynamic and futures focussed curriculum. To ensure this success, our College aims to maximise development and partnerships that complement and accelerate our strategic direction – sharing of best practice and embracing of life long learning philosophy create unique opportunities within the learning community of Chancellor State College. Our focus on the 3R’s – Research, Review and Refine creates a platform that encompasses professional growth, dynamic and innovative learning teams, matched “best practice” and therefore relevant learning student outcomes and opportunities. Microsoft’s “Partners in Learning” aligns with our College philosophy that identifies sharing through professional dialogue, combined with strong and relevant programs of professional development to enhance our most valuable resource – our people. Extending beyond this is our staff’s commitment to collaborate / team processes and dedication to life-long learning. Everything we do as a College, teams or individuals, stems from this focus: PROVIDING / SHARING INSIGHT
To this end, we have requested some of our teachers across our P-12 College to reflect upon the past 2 years of curriculum development that embraces ICTs at Chancellor State College.
