Touch Football Development Program PDF Print E-mail

The Touch Football Development Program will allow students to develop both their general fitness, relevant nutritional information, their understanding of the latest recovery methods and their knowledge and skills of the game.  By having an experienced Level Two Touch coach as the Course Coordinator as well as receiving sessions run by a former Australian Coach and a Queensland Touch Association Development Officer, students will be able to access the latest methods and trends of the game.

Accreditations
Students have an excellent opportunity to gain nationally recognised accreditations in the areas of Refereeing, Coaching and Selecting. As Referees, students have the opportunity to earn money on a regular basis and can also investigate the possibility of progressing their Referee Accreditation Level. Referees showing great potential may be invited to attend and officiate at state wide and possibly even national touch events.

Camp
All members of Chancellor State College Touch Football Teams and members of the TFDP will be expected to attend a weekend camp where students will participate in a variety of workshops, skill sessions and fitness work. Presenters at this camp will include a variety of Junior Queensland Coaches, Open Australian Coaches as well as current Junior Australian and Queensland Representatives.

Scholarships
Chancellor State College offers students the opportunity to apply for scholarships into the Touch Football Development Program. Full scholarships and half scholarships may be offered to students.

Full Scholarships will cover the following for a one year period:

  • Student Resource Scheme fee
  • Touch Football Development Program fees for a year

Half Scholarships cover the Touch Football Development fee for a year.

NB Any scholarships awarded require the recipient to be a member of the TFDP.

Please contact the Course Coordinator, Paul Cobham ( This e-mail address is being protected from spam bots, you need JavaScript enabled to view it ) for more information about scholarships.
