I like playing sports and music, so I have selected the subjects music, recreation, visual arts and biology. We had to take maths and English, but we could choose between maths A, B or C and English or English communication. I’d like to try surfing or scuba diving during my stay in Australia.

My name is Katrin Bahlke and I'm from Germany. I was at Chancellor State College in term one, 2009 and I really enjoyed it!
It was a good choice to go there, for sure. There aren't too many exchange students at Chancellor, which made it easier to get involved with Australians and the different culture.

My name is Sandy Chang (Hsin-Jung Chang), I’m from Hsin-Chu, Taiwan and I started my first year of Australia student live in Chancellor State College in Sunshine Coast which has wonderful environment and full of friendly people.  I think the teachers in Chancellor are all really nice to the international students.

Hello, my name is Ellen Rojek and i come from Germany. I'm 16 years old and I'm in grade 11 at Chancellor State College.I stay here just for 1 term and live during that time in Chancellor in a nice host family. I came to Australia because I want to gain a new experience, improve my English and the weather is so nice here :-) The school is very different to Germany, you wear school uniform and you can for example choose your subjects.

Hello. My name is Anna and I’m from Germany. I live in the west of Germany between Cologne and Dűsseldorf. I’ve been in Australia for four weeks and I’ll stay here until the beginning of 2009. At Christmas, my family will come over so that we can have holidays here in Australia. I have one sister, Clarissa, who is 13 and a dog called Bobby. 

My name is Larry. I come from Taiwan. I like to play sport and to surf the internet. I have studied in Brisbane for five months to prepare my English. Now I study at Chancellor State College. I will be here until I finish senior and I will probably study at Uni. here. It is easier to improve my English here because I have more of a chance to talk to English speakers. There are also not too many people who can speak my language so I can improve my English more quickly.

Oi! My name is Paulo and I’m from the north coast of Brazil. I am at Chancellor College for six months, after having been on the Gold Coast since January. I like playing soccer and surfing. I decided to come to the Sunshine Coast because it is nice and calm and it has beautiful beaches and weather. I  find the culture here in Australia very interesting.
