The Primary Curriculum E-mail

Units of Excellence are collaboratively designed by groups of teachers and the Primary Campus Head of Curriculum. These Units are organised around what we call the Five Worlds: Our Natural World, Our Changing World, Our United World, Our Personal World and Our Amazing World.

Most of the Units of Excellence are grounded within the SOSE, Science and HPE syllabus documents. Literacy, Technology and the Arts are incorporated within the Units.

Code of Conduct E-mail

Students at the Primary Campus are very aware of the code of conduct: care, courtesy, commonsense and coooperation.

We have beliefs about behaviour and the management of bullying in our school, and work through a restorative process to ensure that students learn to accept responsibility for their own behaviour.

Music Programs E-mail

All students in the Primary school attend music classes weekly. Below you can view aspects of the program taught, including

  1. The Recorder Program
  2. The Choir
  3. The Kodaly Concept
  4. Some useful websites

Chancellor currently runs an instrumental music program and a string program with two instrumental teachers: Claire Deady and Anne Keenan . The classroom music teacher, Miranda Browne, is responsible for teaching classroom music and the management of choir.
