The goal of the worldwide Innovative Schools program is to share the lessons learned from Microsoft® School of the Future initiatives and other Partners in Learning programs and set up locally appropriate Innovative School models in 12 locations around the world. Microsoft's model is to work with partners to use research-inspired learning principles and best-in-class technology, integrated and adapted for local community needs. The Innovative Schools program is a long-term commitment from Microsoft to partner with governments, local schools, teachers and partners, to establish a sustainable foundation for continued advances in education and learning.

Chancellor State College’s strategic direction is to embrace the use of ICT in our everyday teaching, learning and operations.ICTs are a part of our P-12 curriculum that aims to prepare our students for the global economy and characteristics of the 21st century learning and work environments.
ICTs are used to enhance and engage our students in a relevant, dynamic and futures focussed curriculum.To ensure this success, our College aims to maximise development and partnerships that complement and accelerate our strategic direction – sharing of best practice and embracing of life long learning philosophy create unique opportunities within the learning community of Chancellor State College.
