Human Swine Influenza Vaccination Program
Since the outbreak of Pandemic (H1N1) 2009 influenza virus (Human Swine Flu), Queensland Health has been working closely with other Government agencies and the community to promote awareness of the virus and measures to prevent the spread of the disease.    Queensland Health's Acting Chief Health Officer Dr Christine Selvey has advised the next step in the pandemic response is a vaccination program which commenced roll out across all States and Territories in Australia on 30 September.

2010 School Ambassador Process
An Ambassador is defined as the “highest ranking Minister”. They serve as official representatives of the “highest formal class”. Historically, an Ambassador is deemed as a representative of the government or place or community – in our case, it is our Chancellor State College community.

P&C Meetings

Chancellor State College Parents and Citizen’s Association meetings are held on the second Wednesday of the month at 7.00pm at the Primary Campus Administration Building. New members are always welcome.

NZ Ski Trip 2010

Following on from an enjoyable and successful School Ski and Snowboard trip in 2008 we are pleased to offer students the opportunity to participate in the 2010 Ski and Snowboard trip to Mt Hutt, New Zealand. In consultation with the New Zealand Travel Centre a proposed itinerary for the coming 2010 June/July ski trip has been designed.

Touch Football Development Program

The Touch Football Development Program will allow students to develop both their general fitness, relevant nutritional information, their understanding of the latest recovery methods and their knowledge and skills of the game.  By having an experienced Level Two Touch coach as the Course Coordinator as well as receiving sessions run by a former Australian Coach and a Queensland Touch Association Development Officer, students will be able to access the latest methods and trends of the game.

Acceler8 Program 2010
This program offers a select group of students the opportunity to work in an accelerated learning program in order to extend their engagement with curriculum and develop high level academic skills throughout the senior phase of learning. The aim of the program is to encourage highly motivated students to achieve greater success through selective grouping and a diverse and challenging range of teaching and learning strategies.
